Red Cap: A blast from the past.
This dry cleaning company was over 50 years old and was being handed off to the third generation of family. Not only were they in need of a complete brand overhaul, they needed everything that most start-ups need. After talking to one of the new owners, I realized the significance and meaning of a "red cap" several decades ago. Red cap was in the name and in their branding. After 50 years, they didn't want to completely abandon the handshake to the past.

It was rather obvious to keep the striking corporate red. Evolving the red cap guy was a little more tedious. But, with a little time and a more contemporaty font, I was able to give their business a fresh look without walking away from their successful legacy.
